James Allen-September Prayer Letter

 

 

Dear supporters and prayer partners,

I would like to present to you most of the members of the Igreja Batista Vitória. These are very sweet people that have been saved and are growing in the Lord. Many are being used of the Lord to influence their family and friends with the Gospel message. Please pray for the salvation of their family and friends.

As I look at my people in this photo I am reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul saying, “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:” Col. 1:9-12 KJV

No, I’m not going to “preach to the choir” through my prayer letter, but I do want to ask you to please take a few moments of each day and bow your head, lifting up your heart and mind to the Lord in prayer for us. Please pray for the folks that have trusted Christ as their Savior and are just now learning what God’s will for their life is. Pray that they may have wisdom and spiritual understanding. Pray that they may walk worthy of the Lord and be fruitful. Pray that they may grow in the knowledge of God and be strengthened in their faith.

Please pray for us as we do our very best to minister unto them and help them in their spiritual growth being an example of faith and faithfulness before them.  Thank you for your faithfulness in serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for your faithfulness in supporting our ministry through prayer and financial gifts.
