Missionary Scott Newton

Tonight we were privileged to have Missionary Scott Newton and his family with us in our mid-week service.  Scott is a second-generation missionary and is headed to the Barcelona region of Spain.  He is out of Vision Baptist Church, pastored by Austin Gardner.  I really enjoyed his zeal tonight.  You could sense the urgency of the hour and need to reach the world in his voice as he preached.  Thank you Brother Newton for being with us this evening.

PS-I also owe him a big apology for thinking his “coke can in the mouth” feat was anti-climatic…and it was, considering the whole time I thought he was going to do it sideways, not just put the end of it in there.  But when I got home I decided I’d try it, thinking it’d be no problem…what is that kid been sucking on, a football?  Good night, I couldn’t even hardly get my lips around the end of that thing, much less my teeth! So, Sir Scott Newton…you’re the man…sorta’.

  1. Jealousy is a sad thing in a Christian, Phil 🙂
Thanks for having us pastor Lawrence!

  2. I just want to know how in the world that fit into a presentation about Spain and why you would advertise that ability.

  3. Trent Cornwell

Was that part of his message? Lol
