The Allens are back in Brazil…
We made it praise the Lord!
Our trip to the airport Monday was a good one.
Thank you so much to all those that were there to say goodbye.
The flight to São Paulo went very well.
The pilot had to fly around in circles a couple of times because of the dense fog over São Paulo on Tuesday morning.
We thought we would have to land at an alternate airport about 140 Km’s away in the city of Campinas, but just as
we were about to land they told us that the other airport was open now and we would be landing there. (São Paulo)
Praise the Lord for lifting the fog.
We caught a bus at the international airport at 11:00am and traveled about an hour and half to the national airport called Congonhas.
There we waited around until our flight left at about 5:15pm.
During our wait we all watched Brazil play North Korea at the World Cup. (Brazil won 2 ro 1)
We landed in Joinville about 6:10pm.
Several folks from our church were there to greet us, and help carry our gazillion bags!!
I told everyone that just our family was responsible for half the weight on the plane!
We are now getting settled into my mother-in-law’s house.
She and Sarah (Soraia’s sister) so kindly moved out so we would have a place to live until our house is ready.
We are all very moved by their generosity.
Thank you all so very much for your prayers for us.
We love you and miss you all so much already.
