Two Extremes…one God

This weekend has contained events that possess two of the most extreme and opposite emotions one can have. From preaching a funeral service at 1 PM On Friday for the Brown Family to having a wedding rehearsal that evening ending with the ceremony this afternoon with Tyler and Callie, I’ve witnessed tears flowing from eyes for two entirely different reasons.

On one hand I’m trying to comfort and console with the Word of God and on the other hand I’m trying to challenge and commit with the Word of God. How wonderful it is to know that we serve a God who doesn’t get confused or too busy to meet our needs whatever it is we’re going through!

Amen! The same God that heals our hearts from grief also fills our hearts with joy and anticipation.

What a joy it is to serve that God!
